About Me

I am interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms and evolutionary consequences of phenotypic plasticity. My research involves investigating environmentally induced shifts in epigenomics, transcriptomics, and behaviour to better understand how phenotypic plasticity could impact our current understanding of evolution. By studying a variety of systems spanning several fish species and cancer, I hope to better predict evolutionary outcomes that have important applications such as in conservation or medical treatments. I am also passionate about scientific outreach and have co-founded Asokan Project, an initiative to provide culturally relevant educational resources for rural and Indigenous youth.
